As Managing Partner of the IPG Media Lab, David manages the daily operations of the IPG Media Lab, builds its client portfolio and develops commercial relationships with strategic partners including technology providers, media owners and other IPG agencies. David is also responsible for developing revenue streams that will enable the IPG Media Lab to grow and continue to produce programming that will enhance the services it provides to clients, partners and the IPG network.
Prior to joining the IPG Media Lab, David served as the Director of Innovation at LBi, where he led the innovation practice. David spearheaded the growth of the agency's intellectual property and established strategic partnerships and investment opportunities for the agency and its clients. A pioneer in emerging media and technology, David inspires the creation of digital solutions beyond the browser that enhance the physical world. He ensures that innovation is the driving force behind LBi's special blend of insight, creativity, media and technical expertise that creates business value for clients. David joined LBi from JWT, where he founded the emerging media group and served as Director of Emerging Media for more than five years. David’s team created award-winning marketing, social media and mobile strategies as well as gaming programs for global and national clients including Microsoft, Unilever, Nestle, Kraft/Cadbury, Bloomberg and Domino’s Pizza. With a wide range of global business experience helping brands from entertainment and technology to packaged goods, David is a sought-after speaker at industry events, contributing writer and has served on the Emmy Awards nominating committee for the National Television and Arts and Sciences – Technology and Engineering category. He launched his marketing career in San Francisco, leading Electronic Arts’ flagship brand EA Sports account for Odiorne Wilde Narraway + Partners.
